Early Bird

Today I am posting a little earlier than normal because I am going on a trip to an itty bitty town to help my mom out with a house. I grew up in this town so its cool to see how its changed, but I definitely do not miss it. Not one single bit. I'm pretty sure if I had stayed there my graduating class would be some where around 25 students. That's just ridiculous. I actually graduated with a class of 87 or so, but even that is tiny. My roommate said there were like 2000 kids at her graduation. Insane.

Anyways, I haven't had any real chances to be honest quite yet today. I did stop by my high school to say hi to all my old teachers and to catch up on some things. I am glad I came from a small school. Its nice when people remember your name and actually care about you and support you. I feel pretty lucky sometimes.

I remembered a conversation I had awhile ago with a friend of mine. I made some sort of sarcastic remark that he did not catch. After evaluating the puzzled look on his face I told him what I really meant. He said that sarcasm is a form of lying. Even if you tell the truth afterwards. I think this is the first real challenge of my honesty experiment. Sarcasm is my default. I think I'm going to have to work on that if sarcasm counts as lying. What do you think?

Just some food for thought. Today's blog is just short and sweet since I'm on a bit of a time crunch. Maybe this weekend I will start adding pictures to my blogs to break it up. We'll see.

  1. I see sarcasm as more of a joke than a lie, but it can be misleading...
